Tulis, in 3 minutes, asks county to spare deputies’ lives, restore safety to roads

I propose a county government ask Sheriff Jim Hammond to comply with the TN shipping and transportation law— one used routinely to harass the poor, blacks, immigrants and others on the roadside. Yes, the traffic stop.

In TN, the law is clear, pursuant to a public document, Transportation Administrative Notice Tennessee, prepared by me as public notice Feb. 20, 2018, for Chattanooga and March 1, 2018, for the county.

Under notice, Hamilton County has no choice but to defy a crooked judiciary, obey the black-letter law at Title 55 and respect the God-given, constitutionally guaranteed, inherent and unalienable rights of the people. It’s up to us to have the law properly enforced.

If we people do nothing, we just keep grinning and bearing it. And hope oppressed people can wait a little longer for justice to be restored in this place.
