True servants of the Lord Jesus Christ confess that He is the Creator God of heaven and earth, Redeemer of mankind, Judge of all the earth, and King of kings and Lord of lords. All power and authority is His.
He only is sovereign – not citizens, not federal or state governments or civil officers.

Holy Scripture, i.e. the Bible, is the Word of God and is the supreme authority inall areas of life – yes, even in courtrooms!
God ordained that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Luke 11:2) God’s divine law is revealed in Scripture and His natural laws are written on our hearts and minds as our conscience. God’s laws are superior to man-made laws, and everyone is commanded to obey them, i.e. “Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Eccl. 12:13) “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength; this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12: 30, 31)
All our rights come from our Creator – not from the state. They enable us to fulfill God’s will and purpose for us on earth. Our rights are permanently ours from birth to death– unless we trespass on the rights of others – and cannot be lawfully taken away by state statutes.
Civil rulers are God’s ministers and are to protect our individual God-given rights by punishing evil and praising good. (Romans 13:4) Primary rights are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness and are established in Scripture. (Acts 17:25, 28) Bible-based secondary rights supporting our primary rights include right to self-defense, right to travel, right to private property, etc.
Let us put Christ’s sovereignty and the supreme authority of the Word of God back into America’s legal system.
